Kids do not learn the way adults do, so we do not treat them like little adults. Covenant Kids Church gives your children their own space to sing, hear a Bible story they can actually follow, and have fun, all while you get to worship without one eye on the clock.
Arrive a few minutes before 10:00 AM and stop by check-in. We print a matching tag for you and your child, so only you can pick them up afterward. It takes a minute, and then you are free to head into worship.
Our nursery cares for the littlest ones in a clean, calm space. Prefer to keep your baby with you? You can, and the Connect Room lets you settle a fussy little one while still seeing the service on a screen.
Age-appropriate worship, a Bible lesson brought to their level, and activities that make it stick. The goal is simple: kids leave knowing they are loved by God and glad they came.
With Fort Drum nearby, a lot of our kids change schools and towns often. We try to make this the one place that feels familiar fast, so friendships can form even in a busy season.

We care for children from nursery age through elementary. Babies and toddlers have a nursery, and older kids have their own Kids Church with worship, Bible teaching, and activities matched to their age. Teenagers have a separate youth ministry that meets midweek.
Kids Church runs during our Sunday service, which starts at 10:00 AM, at Covenant Church, 28060 Leray Street, Black River, NY 13612. Come a few minutes early so you have time to check your children in before worship begins.
Every child is checked in through a secure system that prints a matching tag for your child and for you, so a child is only released back to the adult who dropped them off. It gives parents real peace of mind to worship knowing their kids are accounted for and cared for.
That is completely okay. You are always welcome to keep your children with you in the service. And if your little one gets restless, our Connect Room is a comfortable space where you can settle a fussy baby while still watching the service live on a screen. No stress and no judgment.
There is never a cost, and after check-in you are free to head into the main service while your kids enjoy their own program. If you would rather stay nearby your first week, that is fine too. Do whatever helps your family feel comfortable.
Yes. Many of our families are stationed at Fort Drum or live around Watertown and Black River, and kids here move often. We work hard to make Kids Church a place children actually want to come back to, so your kids can build real friendships even in a season of change.
