M2M is Covenant's men's ministry, and GateKeepers is the calling behind it: men who stand guard over their families, their faith, and each other. Real talk, real Scripture, real brotherhood, Wednesday nights in Black River, near Fort Drum and Watertown. Come as you are.
Wednesdays at 6:30 PM
Men of every age and stage
Stand guard, together
Most men carry a lot and say little. M2M is a room where you can set it down for a couple of hours, be honest, and get some brothers around you who will pray for you and have your back. No performance, no pretending you have it all together.
A gatekeeper guards what matters. We want to be men who protect our families, our faith, and one another, standing watch instead of standing down. It is a high calling, and it is a lot easier shoulder to shoulder.
We dig into what the Bible actually says to men about anger, purity, work, marriage, fatherhood, and faith, then we talk about it like men do. Honest, sometimes blunt, always for each other.
Plenty of these men wear or have worn the uniform. They understand duty schedules, deployments, and starting over in a new town, so a soldier or a veteran fits right in here.
Work, shifts, and orders happen. Come every week or now and then, there is no guilt about the ones you miss. The door and the brotherhood are open whenever you are back.
What guys usually want to know before that first Wednesday.
M2M is the men's ministry at Covenant Church, and GateKeepers is the heart behind it: men who stand guard over their families, their faith, and each other. It is a place for guys to drop the act, talk about what is really going on, dig into the Bible, and become the kind of men, husbands, and fathers God made them to be.
The men gather Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM as part of Family Night at Covenant Church, 28060 Leray Street, Black River, NY 13612. The women, youth, and kids each meet at the same time, so you can bring the whole family and everyone has somewhere to be.
Honest conversation, a look at what the Bible actually says to men, and prayer for one another. It is straight talk, not a lecture, the kind of room where a soldier, a tradesman, a dad, or a guy just checking things out all fit. You will leave encouraged and a little less alone in the fight.
Never. You can come and just listen for as long as you want. Nobody is going to put you on the spot. When you are ready to say something, the door is open, but sitting back and taking it in is completely welcome.
Yes, that describes how a lot of these men started. New guys show up regularly, plenty of them stationed at Fort Drum or new to the area. You do not need a church background or your life figured out. Come as you are, and let some brothers get to know you.
There is no cost. And these men know the rhythm of a duty schedule and a demanding job, so come when you can, whether that is every week or once in a while. The brotherhood is here whenever you are back, no guilt about the weeks you miss.
M2M meets Wednesdays at 6:30 PM. Come as a family, everyone has their own group, or roll in solo. Either way, you belong here.
